Julee Kim Walker, Guest Flute Recital and Masterclass

The Cameron Flute Studio is excited to welcome Dr. Julee Kim Walker to campus on September 23, 2016 to work with the flute students and present a concert in the evening. The Masterclass will take place at 3:30 and the concert will take place at 7:30, both in the McCutcheon Recital at Cameron University.  Both events are free and open to the public.

Dr. Walker will be joined by Luis Sanchez on piano and Alejandro Montiel on guitar in performing works by Bach, Roland, Giuliani, Piazzola, and Ibert.

dZuo in Recital: Texas A&M - Commerce

Tim and I are excited to present "The Sea in Spring" in the Recital Hall at Texas A&M Commerce.  We will be performing our Japanese-inspired program including works by Miyagi, Teizo, Takemitsu, and Piorkowski.

Carolyn will be presenting a masterclass for the flute students from 4:00-5:00 in room 214.

Both events are free and open to the public.

Cameron Guest Recital: Dr. Shelley Martinson

I am excited to host our first guest artist of the year, Dr. Shelley Martinson from Southwest Oklahoma State University! She will be presenting an open masterclass from 3:30-5:00 in the recital hall and a FREE recital at 7:30 in the recital hall.  I will also be making a guest appearance on the recital that evening.  See you there!

Carolyn Keyes and Tim Courtney in Concert

Flutist Carolyn Keyes and guitarist Tim Courtney will celebrate spring time and the sea through performances of two masterworks by Toru Takemitsu and original transcriptions of works by Miyagi, Teizo, and others. 

Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students and seniors.  Cameron University students, faculty, and staff are admitted free with a valid Cameron I.D.
